A long-term creative development initiative created by Umar John as part of Hummingbird Art & Culture Foundation Ltd., with execution by Hummingbird Film Studios Inc. Its framework connects talent discovery, education, mentorship, story development, industry dialogue, and international engagement.

PYCI stands for Pakistan Youth Cinema Initiative, the project identity behind Lollywood to Hollywood.

Its vision includes emerging writers, actors, directors, producers, cinematographers, editors, composers, and other creative professionals. Eligibility will be defined separately for each program.

The initiative is broader than a single competition. Earlier planning included talent discovery and a possible short-film competition within a longer development journey. Any competitive activity will have separately announced rules and selection criteria.

The intended framework connects foundation and industry alignment, talent discovery, workshops and mentorship, screenplay development, short-film activity, international exchange, and longer-term collaboration. Individual opportunities may cover only part of that journey.

Application windows will be announced with the relevant program's eligibility, deadline, submission process, and terms. The current review website does not accept program applications.

These will be stated for each confirmed opportunity. There is no universal schedule, venue, or fee established by this framework.

Any certificate and its issuing organization will be described with the relevant activity. The initiative framework does not establish an accredited qualification or degree.

International exchange is part of the intended framework. A specific exchange requires separately confirmed partners, selection, funding, travel arrangements, and participant terms. Participation alone does not guarantee travel, a visa, employment, or placement.

Screenplay development and future production possibilities are distinct steps. Any production would require separate selection, funding, rights, and project agreements. Submission or participation does not guarantee production or distribution.
